Healing Sleep

The best way to fight chronic fatigue is with intentional healing sleep.

When you have cancer, you are fatigued all the time. It is not a fatigue like you need to take a quick nap, it is fatigue to the core of your soul. Your body has reached the point that it cannot do anything else.


Think about it; your body is quite literally working overtime trying to kill cancer cells. But while it is doing that, healthy cells are dying too. So the most important thing that you can do to help alleviate some of that chronic fatigue is by having some really good healing sleep.


When I say “healing sleep” I’m talking about creating an environment, prior to bedtime, that includes a routine to help you relax. Give yourself a good 8-10 hours of sleep per night. When we are asleep, our bodies are able to focus totally on rejuvenation and healing. So healing sleep is imperative!
