Tips and tricks to help someone who is experiencing shortness of breath

Here is an easy tip if you are feeling short of breath and are becoming more anxious. One of the things you can do that is really simple is get a little fan and put it near you. Just the feeling of air movement can actually makes us feel like there is more air for us to breathe and it can decrease our feelings of shortness of breath and therefore helping with the associated anxiety.

 

This can be wonderful thing to do when you are waiting for a medication to take effect. Something as simple as turning on a fan – a ceiling fan in a bedroom, a little fan that you can sit in front of you or even opening a window when there is a breeze can make worlds of difference.
